Current Opportunities

 

The work I do with the children at the Eluciole circus is really enjoyed by them all, and I'm receiving more and more requests from the kids and also from adults to organize more classes. Since I'm actually the only circus teacher in Auroville, the possibilities are obviously limited and that's the reason why we are looking for a full time trainee.

- Someone who lives in Auroville or would be interested to live in Auroville. 

- Someone who is passionate about teaching and would like to be a teacher of the circus arts.

- Someone who has body awareness and training in the form or is willing to train seriously. 

- A minimum of 1 year's commitment.

The person shall first become first my assistant and, eventually, be Eluciole’s second teacher...

The trainee will assist the classes and receive some private classes weekly to develop his/her technical knowledge, with the possibility to receive a financial support during the training.

​

The work we are doing in our circus school is very much connected with the yoga of Auroville, the awakening of the body consciousness. We also work on many different aspects of our being: overcoming our fears, developing trust, exploring our resistance, learning to let it go and surrender...

It also creates a deep connection with children, learning patience, learning to love and share and becoming aware that, with perseverance and practice everything becomes possible.
